Colvill Park is an urban recreation area offering a variety of fun activities and dedicated areas for some recreational sports. It features idyllic picnicking spots, tennis courts, playgrounds and the Colvill Aquatic Center, complete with water slides, diving boards and a sandy beach. Located along the Mississippi River, the park lies just east of downtown, near the much larger Soldiers Memorial Park.
Park opens daily, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Colvill Aquatic Center open daily Jun - Jul: noon - 8:00 p.m.; Aug - Labor Day: noon - 7:00 p.m.
Park entry: Free. Colvill Aquatic Center: Adults $6.50; Children (under 42") $4.50; Children under 2 are $2.50.
